1. Jonathan : Info Reports

I didn't send this issue last week because I didn't want it arriving to subscribers' email boxes who were taking time off for the 4th of July.

As an incentive to get new subscribers, I'm offering Info Reports by Don Lapre, a self-made millionaire.

The Info Reports that I'm offering to subscribers are:

-How to Buy Incredible Products at Wholesale Prices
-30 Ways to Make Money on the Weekends
-How to Buy Things for Pennies at Auctions
-How to Buy Computers Dirt Cheap & Sell them for Profits
-How to Get Rich on Other Peoples Pocket Change
-How to Make Money on the Internet
-How to Find Anyone in the United States
-How to Make Money Giving Away FREE Internet Access

Since you are reading this, you are clearly a subscriber. You can download the info reports at:
[you'll have to subscribe to get the url. click here to go subscribe.]

Some of the information in the reports is out of date, but much of it is still useful. (I personally thought the 'How to Buy Computers Dirt Cheap..' report was hilarious.)

Win a copy of Words That Lose Money.. Words That Make Money!

I'm offering a copy of 'Words That Lose Money.. Words That Make Money' to subscribers that suggest cool tools.

All you have to do is email me with your idea for a Cool Tool, and why you think it is a cool tool.

I won't necessarily use all the entries, but ALL 'good' entries will be considered winners even if I never use them in Awesome Solutions For Webmasters.

So go ahead and send your submission to editor[at]

If I like it, I'll be replying soon with the URL where you can download your copy of the ebook.

I'm planning on writing an article on domain name stealing.

Apparently it is becoming more rampant. Just today, I read a news article about a sheriff's department whose domain name 'expired' even though they had it registered until November!

The domain is now owned by another company which has it redirecting to a pornographic website.

I'm convinced there are certain domain name registrars that are dishonest in their dealings and do this kind of thing. I've had my domain name with and I've never had a problem.

2. Tables. A must for any serious design. by Ralph Hilliard

Very simply put, the table is a designers best layout
friend. There is no better way to ensure that your pages
are going to look on the web as they do in your mind.<BR>

Tables allow you to set your pages at a specifically
designated width so you never have problems with your visitors
having to scroll or with text and pictures not lining up

They allow you to place particular objects in exactly the
place you want it to be in the final design.

They also allow you to combine an image and a background
together to achieve a seemless appearance.

For instance, take a look at the following site.

Do you notice how the black outer edge appears seemless? Would
you be surprised if I told you part of that edge is an image
but part of it is merely a background color in a table?<BR>

The only problem is that coding tables in html can be very
tedious and complex. Well, I'm here to tell you that it
doesn't have to be. Even the pros use tools to layout tables.
It's fast and effective.

Try using a tool such as Dreamweaver by Macromedia. It's
available for a free trial by download and will make you
a table designing fool in no time.

3. Cool Tool : Macromedia Dreamweaver

Over the years, I've experimented with many different methods to design a website.

I've tried those automatic things where you type in the info and the program/script does the work. The result of the pages designed using this method were usually very poor.

I've used text editors where you have to spend hours typing code in. While the result is often nice, the time and effort spent.. getting to the final result was quite a bit. Especially if you wanted to do something with tables.

And I've used the WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get) editors. I have used many editors which would fit into this category.
Of course, there are purists out there who would whine.
'You can't use a WYSIWYG editor if you want to have a good site!'

A few years ago, using a WYSIWYG editor wasn't the best way to go because the editors were simply junk

So, after all those years.. what have I finally ended up with?

About 3 years ago, I downloaded a trial version of Macromedia Dreamweaver. I was a bit skeptical, mainly because the name Dreamweaver sounds almost childish. As soon as I started using the program, I knew it was powerful.

It no longer took hours to write some tables with a text editor. I didn't waste time wrestling with my WYSIWYG editor, like I had when I used FrontPage.

And so here I am. My dad and grandparents helped me pay for Macromedia Dreamweaver. And even though the price is high, I've never regretted switching to this editor. It's much better than any of the free editors.

Perhaps, the best thing about this WYSIWYG editor is the fact that WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET!

And I'm not the only person who thinks so!

Ralph Hilliard, founder of WordNet University (, requests that all students purchase Dreamweaver for his courses.
